Flee from Idolatry - The Example of the Shepherds

For the Church to be the nation under God that He wants us to be, we need to flee idolatry. An idol is anything that we have placed above the Living God in our hearts.
A humble position in life can't justify idolatry.
A powerful spiritual encounter can't justify idolatry.
Fear can't justify idolatry.
Self pity can't justify idolatry.
A lack of a God who has made a way forward can't justify idolatry.
Earthly commitments can't justify idolatry.
Lack of revelation from God can't justify idolatry.
