Worship is how we tell God we love Him

Worship is:

Reverent submission and actions expressing devotion to God

Ascribing ultimate worth to the Creator

Aligning heart mind and body in honor of Him


1. Old Testament Worship includes numerous Rituals

2. New Testament Worship is in Spirit and Truth.

A. Worship needs to be bigger than what happens in a building

3. God is the Object of our Worship.

A. So Worship blossoms into joy


Scripture highlights diverse expressions of Worship: Prayer, sacrifice (OT), Reading of Scripture, teaching, fasting, service, financial gifts, musical praise (Psalms 150:1-6), the Lord's Supper


4. Worship is Corporate and Private

5. Worship is a lifestyle


God is calling Bethel to serve Him, however He brings it
