The Encouragement of Prayer

Prayer is personal communication with God. Requests for ourselves, for others. In prayer, we confess sin, we adore the Father, and offer praise and thanksgiving. Why does God want us to pray? He knows what we need before we ask Him. Prayer shows we trust God, and that we love Him. Prayer is kingdom work!

To pray with effectiveness we need to pray with humility, according to His will, and in faith. We usually pray to the Father. And may pray to Christ, and the Holy Spirit. We pray in Jesus' authority, and wait on the Lord.

"Unanswered" prayer? Check ourselves - are we regarding sin in our heart? Know that God will never leave us! God's timing is always perfect. The answer could be "no" for now. Our prayers reach God in Heaven!
